“Wallace” Skating at the Park – Fine craft raw wood sculpture with a painted finish highlighted with India ink – made from a solid pine branch with nodules realistically painted to resemble an animated rabbit decked out in a knit cap with ball to the top, a red scarf knotted at the neck, a blue knit cardigan over a plaid shirt, and ‘Osh Gosh’ blue jeans with woven leather belt, a bunch of carrots and Bauer ice skates are suspended from his front paws – signed and titled on the base (Just for Fun ’97- artist unknown) – Canada – circa 1997.
Excellent vintage condition – all original – no loss – no damage – no restoration – minor signs of age and use.
