A rare 1960s “Wishbone” rocking chair in steam-bent oak by British designer Robin Williams.
Produced in small numbers, it is one of the more graceful rocking chairs of the period.
Reminiscent of Yngve Ekstrom or Sam Maloof designs, the ergonomic shape mirrors the human form, providing great comfort.
It can be further softened with the use of a fleece like the one pictured.
There is one discrete historic repair at the cross beam. Structurally robust, it has been stress tested and is good for normal daily use.
