Pablo Picasso Four Ballet Dancers Signed Collotype Print

This is an extraordinarily RARE Pablo Picasso lithograph, titled “Four Ballet Dancers”. It is a very refined drawing that Picasso drew in 1925 and the original is now in the MoMA collection. This is NOT a modern reprint. It is a vintage lithograph from a 1946 Picasso-authorized portfolio of his most famous drawings, titled “Picasso Fifteen Drawings”, published by Albert Carman from an edition of 500. This image is EXTREMELY hard to find. Others you will find online are as much as $6500.

When you look at the series of 15 drawings, you can see the entire evolution of the artist from the turn of the century, to the mid-1940s, and it is simply astounding. This is one of Picasso’s most captivating drawings, bursting with emotion and style.

It is signed in the lower right of the plate and dated 1925. We have custom framed it in a stunning patina silver Italian frame with acid-free woven matting, and Museum glass (100% UV protection and zero glare). It is absolutely gorgeous.
