Mid-20th century tribal woman’s tunic, Karen People, Burma
A nice, graphic example of a woman’s blouse from the Karen ethnic group in Burma/Myanmar. The Job’s tears seeds (Coix lacryma-jobi) are in great condition with only one or two missing. The ground is a black handwoven cotton.
