Antique solid bronze candle holders designed by Christophe Fratin (1801-1864).

These pieces depict a bear and monkey balancing precariously atop a full wash bin, ending in a tripod base that doubles as a rustic wooden stand for the wash bin to sit on. This highly detailed piece is just one piece of a similarly-themed collection featuring the same monkey and bear.
