This bold and beautiful table showcases all the best that classical English and Irish furniture has to offer. The large gadrooned edge ,robust carving on the pedestal and sensitive but massive carving on the feet and back sweeping acanthus and acorn bunches on the underside of the trefoil base give the impression of power and solid direction the leading economic and colonial power of time felt about its self and the world around it. More then likely made in or around Dublin this table can rise or fall to two different highest the touch of a button . The table retains its original finish and has a warm mellow color.
