Striking coffee table designed by Giuseppe Scapinelli and manufactured in his workshop in Brazil, 1950. This sculptural shaped coffee table is made of very dark and deep coloured rosewood. It has a somewhat oval shape and 3 very elegant shaped legs. The glass top is newly made and the structure has been restored. It has a very nice arm grain to the rosewood and has a very nice dark rosewood color again. The table is made of several parts of wood, beautifully sculpted into this shape. A nice detail is the small hole in the front of the frame, which makes it more visually pleasing. It has a very dynamic shape and sculptural form. It has a typical Italian feel to it, but that makes sens as Scapinelli was originally from Italy. As the table is fully restored it can be used directly and this piece has a timeless shape and style, will fit in any modern eclectic interior or home.
