German Carved Country Farmhouse Bench in Oak

This lovely, rare country farm oak bench was found in the south of Germany. These types of benches were commonplace in German and Eastern Europe farmhouses early 20th century. Hand crafted with beautiful curves and with some extra space inside the bench for storage. A soft, warm all-over patina is visible on the wood which emphasizes the natural expression of the item. The shape of the bench creates a very open look and makes this an object to make a space more interesting.
