This is an original not later example, it has the super rare, ornately carved panels as mentioned which on their own are worth the sale price of the chair, it is exquisite and real statement piece for any fine furniture collector

In terms of the condition, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be some normal age and use related patina marks, nothing you wouldn’t hope to find on an authentic period piece
