A very well made and decorative piece, retailed through Liberty’s in the 1920’s as mentioned, it is ornately carved and wonderfully inlaid with mother of pearl. The piece has a pair of picture seats where you place your painting, these can be moved up or down in one of three place settings depending on the size of the canvas s
Condition wise it has been deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished from top to bottom, there will be normal age and use related patina marks here and there
