1920s Art Deco Scottish Terrier’s Book Ends on Marble Stepped Demi-Lune Plinth – a Pair

An original pair of period Art Deco book ends featuring Scottish Terrier’s seated upon stepped, demi-lune Marble plinth. The Scotty’s are made from a metal commonly used call Spelter. They retain and original painted finish. Noted in photo. # 10… the original felt bottom covering is still present. The pair remain un-restored and in original condition. Also noted is a small amount of loss to the painted finish seen in photos. # 5,6 & 8. Both figures show nearly identical losses due to close contact with each other over the years. Also noted & seen in photo. #7 is a small paint droplet of what looks to be white paint.
