Vintage Italian Cavour Armchair from S.I.M, 1950s

Cavour armchair designed in 1959 by architetti associati g. Stoppino, v. Gregotti and l. Meneghetti and produced by s.i.m. (from 1988 it was then produced by poltrona frau). The armchair has a structure made up of alternating wooden strips and synthetic material padding.
completely reupholstered, red velvet upholstery. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
