Vintage Design
Stunning Mid-Century Modern textured ice glass flush mount light fixture by German manufacturer Hillebrand, circa 1965. Huge round glass dish is made of Italian ‘Frit’ Murano glass – a technique involving hundreds of tiny glass shards which are molded into the glass during its manufacture, giving the piece a heavy ice appearance which refracts the light, filling a room with a soft, warm and welcoming glow. Mounted on a polished solid brass flush mount and held in place by three large, round brass screws. Five E14 Edison style screw fit light bulbs (40 Watt Max. per bulb). Very good original condition.
