This large and substantial sculpture of a horse’s head is unsigned, but believed to have been made in Canada in circa 1980. The sculpture is made completely of pieces of driftwood which have been cut, shaped and fitted to form a horse head and neck. The sculpture is mounted to a large piece of a driftwood root ball.

Condition:GoodWear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Some hot glue residue noted around one piece of the base, and also on the central nose area where pieces may have been re-attached. One small piece of the lower jaw may be missing and one piece of the mane may also be missing.
