Vintage Design
This elegant design sputnik light was realized in Italy, circa in the 1960s. It consists of twelve torus-shaped shades of hand-blown Murano glass in a beautiful white-clear tone, embedded with an abundance of tiny bubbles reminiscent of bubbling water, and white-clear accents. The shades are attached to a chrome central frame with cylindrical rods of the same material. With its beautiful glass quality and bold silhouette, this piece embodies the verve and panache that discerning collectors of top-notch Italian Mid-Century Modern design absolutely appreciate. It has been rewired and is in excellent condition. The chandelier can accommodate 12 candelabra bulbs with a light output of up to 720 watts. Manufactured in Italy in the 1960s. Measures: dm (38 cm), height 45″ in. (114 cm), dm per glass disc 5.9″ in. (15 cm). Lighting: takes twelve small Edison E14 base screw bulbs per lamp. Wattage: we recommend up to 60w per bulb. Works on 220v as well as 110v. Condition: very good vintage condition. No imperfections to the glasses. One spare part will be added. Wiring: the lamp has been tested with US American light bulbs under 120v and works flawlessly, no tools or rewiring required. All our goods are originally wired for 220v.
