A whimsical large Inuit Eskimo carving in soapstone of a Bear holding a rock to throw at 2 Walrus. The tusks of one walrus are likely bone, and the tusks of the other are missing and broken off. To be honest, unless it is raised upside down, it won’t be noticed. The piece is monogramed AFF and numbered. It bears a seal, Eskimo Art Esquime Canada. The piece is Soapstone and has numerous minor nicks and surface scratches, please see the detailed photos. It is approximately 17 inches long, 5 inches wide and 6 inches tall.
