Rare Mid-Century Modern Sputnik Chandelier with white Murano glass on an enameled frame. Glass elements resemble frozen glass roses fixed on a creamy white brass frame. Chandelier illuminates beautifully and offers a lot of light. Gem from the time. With this light you make a clear statement in your interior design. A real eye-catcher even unlit. Manufactured by VEB Lighting, Hellerau, Germany in the 1960s. Model: Sputnik. Execution: round. Style: Mid-Century Modern. Colours: enamel, white and clear. Material: Murano glass and brass. Lighting: takes nine small Edison E14 base screw bulbs. Ready to use worldwide. Wattage: we recommend up to 40w per bulb. Works on 220v as well as 110v. Condition: very good vintage condition. No imperfections to the glasses. Wiring: the lamp has been tested with US American light bulbs under 120v and works flawlessly, no tools or rewiring required. All our goods are originally wired for 220v.
