This antique general store advertising store display tin for the R.B. Hay Hoe & Co. tea is presumed to have been made in Canada in approximately 1880 in the period Victorian style. The tin advertises Tea which the Hay Hoe company imported, and the company was based out of Toronto Ontario and Beauc Quebec, Canada. The tin is done in a bright red with a lithographed front with a panel depicting a musketeer. The tin has a latched opening on the top.
