Large soapstone puffin bird sculpture, simplistic in design, wings tucked in, standing with legs together and the head slightly cocked to one side. The soapstone puffin measures 9″-inches high x 4″-inches wide x 8″-inches deep. The bottom has a toothpick to even out the bottom, just the way the carver finished it. The soapstone is marked with disc. number E 5516, and signed Peter, please see bottom pic.
